Introduction to Abrasion Plate
Abrasion plate is a high-strength, high-wear-resistant steel plate with an optimized chemical composition formula (such as appropriate amounts of carbon, silicon, manganese and trace amounts of chromium and aluminum). The hardness value can reach 400HBW. The NM400 abrasion plate is suitable for mining machinery, construction engineering, energy equipment, agricultural machinery and other fields, such as bucket liners, conveying pipelines, coal mill liners, bulldozer blades, etc.
Advantages
Good wear resistance
The yield strength HA50 of this abrasion plate is ≥10%, and the tensile strength is ≥1200 MPa. Under low temperature (-20℃), the impact toughness (AKv/J) of NM400 is ≥24. It has extremely high strength and can withstand strong external forces without deformation or cracking.
Reasonable chemical composition
The appropriate amount of carbon (0.3%) and chromium (0.7%) helps to improve the hardness and strength of NM400 and enhance its wear resistance; the silicon content (0.7%) plays an important deoxidation role in the steel manufacturing process, which can improve the purity of steel and reduce inclusions; manganese can combine with sulfur in steel to form manganese sulfide, thereby reducing the adverse effects of sulfur on steel performance; the addition of trace aluminum (≥0.01%) can refine the grain structure of steel and improve the toughness and plasticity of the material.

The thickness range of NM400 abrasion plate is 3-80 mm, suitable for a variety of application needs. 3-10 mm thin plates are suitable for equipment and parts that need to be lightweight, such as conveyor liners, light buckets, transportation tool parts, etc. 20-80 mm thick plates are very suitable for heavy machinery and equipment and high wear areas, such as mining machinery, crusher housings, large excavator buckets, etc.
